Klara Valentina Fritz, MA, is a university assistent (predoc) at the Chair of Public History at the Faculty Center for Transdisciplinary Historical and Cultural Studies of the University of Vienna.

She studied interdisciplinary social sciences with a focus on history and sociology (BA) and urban studies (MA) at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and Barnard College, Columbia University, New York.

At the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris she worked in a research capacity as a policy analyst in the division 'Cities, Urban Policies and Sustainable Development'.

She worked on the organisation and analysis of the participation process for the expansion of the Gusen Memorial at the culture and urbanism agency art:phalanx.
