The Faculty Center consists of the research units Cultural Heritage, Historical Transregional Studies, and Public History. They follow a transdisciplinary program and focus on the study of networks, relational concepts of space as well as wandering people, objects, and ideas. They reflect on academic and non-academic modes of knowledge, consider aesthetic practices and material traditions, and take cross-epochal perspectives. They aim to create a forum for new collaborations within the university as well as within the national and international research landscape.
