Forschung

Am Fakultätszentrum sind vier Arbeitsbereiche angesiedelt: Cultural Heritage, Historische transregionale Studien, Public History und Wissensgeschichte der Medizin und Biowissenschaften. Die Arbeitsbereiche sind transdisziplinär angelegt, beschäftigen sich mit Netzwerken, relationalen Raumkonzepten sowie wandernden Menschen, Gegenständen und Ideen sowie mit dem öffentlichen Umgang mit Vergangenheitsreferenzen. Sie reflektieren akademische und nichtakademische Wissensweisen, denken über ästhetische Praktiken und materielle Überlieferungen in epochenübergreifender Perspektive nach. Sie stellen ein Forum für neue Kooperationen dar und setzen neue Akzente innerhalb der universitätsinternen, nationalen und internationalen Forschungslandschaft.
